Saturday October 10th we held a memorial ride for Jay Jones who we lost suddenly on September 23rd. The BRO's were there to meet us at Blue Mountain Grill to place our plaque for Jay. We had been trying to figure out how to give everyone who loved him a place to go and to be able to always remember him. We saw Cruz at Oyster Run and talked about the memorial wall going up at Blue Mountain, and it was the perfect thing. Jay was not one for anything formal, and this was not. Just a bunch of friends, his daughter (who lives in Ontario Canada) and those that loved him gathering together to ride, and remember things about Jay. Cruz and some of the members, were there to greet us with open arms. They made us feel like family. The night before some of the guys from BRO built a flower bed below the memorial, in the pouring down rain, so that it would be ready for us on Sunday. I can't say enough about these guys and their organization. They are angels from heaven! Thank you again for this wonderful place to remember our fallen bikers. Lets hope we never fill that wall!
